Registration periods, player passport, ITC, loans, unregistered players, and overdue payables
This unit is the operational core of player movement: registration periods, passports, ITCs, loans, unregistered-player consequences, and overdue payables. Expect multi-select items on window limits, ITC conditions, and loan caps.
Key points
- Article 6: players may only be registered during one of the two annual registration periods fixed by the association; male and female periods may differ; cumulative total of both periods may not exceed 16 weeks.
- A professional whose contract naturally expired or was mutually terminated before the end of the engaging club's registration period may be registered after that period expires.
- Article 9: the ITC shall be issued free of charge without any conditions or time limit; contrary provisions are null and void.
- Article 10 governs loans, including consent and limit frameworks tested on the exam.
- Articles 11–12 address unregistered players and overdue payables consequences that affect eligibility and club standing.
Exam traps
- Inventing a third or fourth registration period, or a cumulative total above 16 weeks.
- Allowing a releasing association to withhold an ITC until solidarity or other fees are paid.
- Assuming sporting urgency alone always authorises registration outside association-fixed periods.
